Privacy Policy

Effective and last updated: October 30, 2026.

Who runs this website

Serve First Realty runs breakfreefromforeclosure.com. Break Free From Foreclosure is an educational resource of Serve First Realty, a California real estate broker corporation, DRE 02298264.

Our address is 1100 Melody Lane, Suite 1028, Roseville, CA 95678. For privacy questions or requests, email info@breakfreefromforeclosure.com or call 916-436-3776.

This policy covers this website and our follow-up on requests made through it. Other providers named on our Disclosures page provide their own services. Their privacy notices may also apply if you ask for those services.

Your tracking choices

Right now, no optional analytics or advertising tools are turned on for this website. If we add them, we will keep them off unless you choose to allow the type of tracking involved. You may use the site, ask for a guide, or request a call without allowing it. These choices do not stop the email tracking described under Email delivery and tracking.

Use Privacy Choices to see the tools approved for use, change your choice, or withdraw consent. Use Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information to stop ad-related sale or sharing. You do not need an account.

We honor Global Privacy Control, or GPC. When we detect it, we turn off sale and sharing through ad tracking for that browser and device. If we can link the request to a known profile, we apply it to that profile too. We show when your opt-out has been honored. We do not treat a missing GPC signal on a later visit as permission to turn sharing back on. We also offer separate controls to reject analytics.

A choice saved in one browser may not carry to another browser or device. Clearing browser storage may remove a local choice. You can make the choice again or contact us so we can apply it to records we can identify. You can turn on GPC through a browser or extension that supports it.

Information we collect and why: Notice at Collection

Information you give us

Depending on the form, we collect your name, phone number, optional email, preferred language and contact time, county, foreclosure stage, message, guide request, marketing choice, and your email, call, and text choices. On a privacy request, we also collect the type of request and the details you give us.

We use this information to answer you, send what you asked for, arrange a call, and provide services you choose. We send marketing emails only if you ask for them. We also keep records needed for law, licensing, security, and disputes.

We do not send these form answers, messages, or contact details to ad platforms for matching, ad audiences, or conversion tracking. We do not sell or share them for ads shown across other companies' sites.

Please do not put Social Security numbers, passwords, loan account numbers, bank details, or financial papers in these forms. Ask us for a secure way to send documents if a service requires them.

Data needed to run the site

Our site and service providers process technical data, such as an IP address, browser and device details, request time, and the page requested. We use it to deliver pages, handle forms, stop abuse, and keep records of privacy choices. This is separate from optional analytics and ads.

We keep operational data only as long as needed to run and protect the site, investigate problems, meet legal duties, and resolve disputes. We do not use this operational data for cross-site ad targeting.

Optional analytics

No optional analytics tool is turned on right now. If we turn one on and you allow analytics, approved tools may collect a browser identifier, general location, device and browser details, and limited page or event data. We use this to learn how approved parts of the site work. Google Analytics is one tool we may enable.

Our setup will not use Google advertising features, customer IDs, or form answers for analytics. We will not link our analytics data to ad accounts for audience targeting. The active-tool list in Privacy Choices explains which tools are enabled and their retention settings.

Optional advertising tools

No advertising tool is turned on for this website right now. If we turn one on, then on pages approved for ad tracking, and only if you allow it, a pixel or conversion tag may send an ad platform online identifiers, device and browser details, an IP address, and limited page or event data. A pixel is a small piece of code that sends data when a page loads or an event happens.

We would use approved ad tools to measure ads and, where allowed, help deliver ads. A platform may link the data to its own records and use it across other sites or apps. California law may call this a "sale" or "sharing" even if we are not paid for the data. We treat these ad disclosures as subject to our sale and sharing choice.

We may advertise through LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Pinterest, Bluesky, Reddit, Rumble, or other channels. This does not mean each channel has a tracker on this site. The current list in Privacy Choices identifies the actual tracking providers. We review each tool before use. Listing a possible channel here is not your consent to a new tool.

We do not use ad tools to build audiences based on foreclosure stage, missed payments, loan problems, or other financial hardship. We do not upload our inquiry or customer lists to ad platforms.

Pages we exclude from optional tracking

We keep third-party analytics and ad tags off forms, booking pages, thank-you pages, the Stage Finder, and pages that reveal a person's foreclosure stage or financial details. We also keep them off document and account areas. Needed hosting, form delivery, security, and privacy-choice services may still process data on these pages.

We do not use session replay or tools that record what you type into our forms. We do not collect precise GPS location for ads or analytics.

How long we keep each kind of data

  • Contact, request, and message data: for the time needed to answer the request and provide chosen services. We keep it longer only when needed for legal or licensing records, disputes, security, or other lawful duties.
  • Operational and security data: for the time needed to deliver the service, detect abuse, fix problems, and meet legal duties.
  • Analytics identifiers and events: for the period set for the active tool, shown in Privacy Choices. We use limited retention settings and do not keep identifiable events forever.
  • Ad identifiers and events: for the time needed for the approved measurement or advertising purpose, as stated in the active-tool list. A platform may have its own retention duties and practices. We review those before turning on its tool.
  • Privacy choices and request records: for the time needed to honor your choices and show that we handled your request as required.
  • Email records: We keep delivery, open, and click records only as long as reasonably needed to check our emails, provide follow-up you requested, and run promotional email campaigns you chose. We also consider legal duties and disputes. If you withdraw permission, we stop using those records for the withdrawn purpose. We may keep limited records to document your choices, meet legal duties, and handle disputes. We keep a separate, limited unsubscribe record to prevent unwanted promotional emails. That does not require keeping your full open and click history.
  • Call and text consent records: for as long as we rely on your consent and for five years after, unless a longer legal hold applies. We keep limited opt-out records so we do not contact you again after you ask us to stop.

Our retention rules also cover copies held by our vendors, subject to backup and legal limits. A later request does not always require deletion of records the law requires us to keep.

For each category above, the purpose and ad sale or sharing status are stated in that category. To stop ad sale or sharing, use Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information. See Privacy Choices for the current tools and controls.

Hosting, forms, guide delivery, and booking

Netlify hosts this website. Netlify receives and stores our website forms and sends them to our Google Workspace email account. Form submissions are also sent automatically to GoHighLevel. This includes guide requests, callback requests, and privacy requests.

For a guide request, we send your name, email address, guide title, guide link, language choice, and your email, call, and text choices. We send your phone number only if you choose calls or texts. GoHighLevel creates a contact record, marks it as a guide request, and emails the guide. Those emails use the tracking described below.

Our guide-email workflow does not act on callback or privacy requests, but GoHighLevel still receives those submissions. If you choose our booking link, you leave this website and use a calendar hosted by GoHighLevel. That service processes the details you provide there.

Email delivery and tracking

We use GoHighLevel to send some emails, including requested guides and other messages. These emails contain a small image that can report when the email is opened. Their links pass through a tracking service before opening the destination page.

This can create records linked to your email address, including when a message appears to be opened and which links appear to be used. Email apps and security tools may load images or check links automatically, so these records do not always show what you personally did.

Website Privacy Choices do not turn off this email tracking. You can block remote images in your email app, but that does not stop tracking when you use a tracked link. An unsubscribe link stops the emails described by that choice; it does not erase past tracking records. Every guide can also be read on this website without using the form.

We use email delivery, open, and click records to check whether our emails reach you and appear to be read. If you choose guide follow-up, we may use those records to decide whether to send that follow-up. If you choose promotional emails, we may use those records to choose which promotional emails to send you and when to send them.

We do not treat an email open or a link click as permission for follow-up, marketing, calls, or texts. We do not use guide-only records for promotional campaigns unless you later give us permission for that use.

We use GoHighLevel to send our emails and process email records for us. We do not send guide requests or email open and click records to advertising platforms for audience matching or advertising across other sites.

Guides and email choices

Requesting a guide does not by itself sign you up for guide follow-up or promotional emails. The optional email box lets you choose both guide follow-up and future tips and promotional emails from Serve First Realty about its real estate and paid mortgage-help services. You can unsubscribe at any time. Calls and texts are separate choices. We send the guide even if you leave all three boxes blank.

We use your guide request and email activity for follow-up or promotional campaigns only within the choices you make. You may withdraw any choice. Giving permission for Serve First Realty emails does not give its affiliated companies permission to market to you, and does not authorize calls, texts, advertising audiences, or advertising pixels.

People who requested guides under our earlier guide-only notice are not added to these uses unless they later give fresh permission.

Optional calls and texts

Our guide forms let you separately choose marketing calls and marketing texts from Serve First Realty. We collect your phone number, the choices you make, and records showing when and how you made or withdrew those choices. We and our calling and messaging providers use this information to send the contact you chose, answer replies, and respect opt-outs.

Entering a phone number alone does not give marketing permission. You can receive the guide without choosing calls or texts. These permissions do not allow Ashlar Lending, Ashlar LDA, Inc., or other companies to market their own services to you.

You can withdraw permission by telling us during a call, replying to a text, emailing info@breakfreefromforeclosure.com, calling 916-436-3776, or using another reasonable way to reach us. Reply STOP to stop texts or HELP for help. We also act on other clear requests to stop, including requests in Spanish. A clear request to stop all calls and texts stops both.

Website Privacy Choices do not manage call and text permissions. You do not need an account to withdraw permission. See our SMS Terms.

We do not sell or share mobile numbers, SMS opt-in records, or text-message consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional use. We provide them only to providers helping us deliver and manage our own program, or where legally required.

GoDaddy is our domain registrar. This website does not use Cloudflare Web Analytics.

Our pages request fonts from Google Fonts. That request sends your browser's IP address and related request data to Google. Font delivery is not an advertising pixel. It is separate from optional Google Analytics. If we change to self-hosted fonts, we will update this description.

Who receives information

We use providers for hosting, forms, email, booking, customer follow-up, security, privacy choices, and approved analytics or ads. Providers receive the data needed for their role. Ad platforms may act for their own purposes as explained above. We do not describe all ad platforms as vendors acting only for us.

We give your inquiry to another listed service provider only when you request that service or allow the transfer. Requesting a guide or contacting this website does not give another provider permission to market to you.

We may also disclose information when required by law or when lawfully needed to protect rights, address fraud, or handle legal claims. These disclosures remain subject to applicable law.

Financial services information

Some information used for mortgage or other financial services is subject to financial privacy laws. The provider will give you its required financial privacy notice and choices when required. This website policy does not replace them.

We do not treat all website visits or tracking data as exempt from California privacy law just because a provider offers mortgage services.

We do not use website tracking data to decide whether you qualify for a home, a loan, or foreclosure relief.

Links and other websites

Our plain social and share links take you to other websites. If you choose one, that site may receive browser and referral data and will apply its own privacy rules. A link is not permission for us to load an ad pixel before your choice. This policy does not control other websites.

Browser signals

We honor GPC as explained above. Older "Do Not Track" browser settings are different. We do not treat those settings as a separate tracking instruction. You can instead use Privacy Choices or GPC. If allowed ad tools run, their providers may collect activity over time and across sites.

Your requests and rights

You may ask to see, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. You may also ask us to stop marketing. Contact us at info@breakfreefromforeclosure.com or 916-436-3776, or use the Privacy Request form.

Where the California Consumer Privacy Act applies, California residents have rights to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information collected about them; the sources, purposes, and recipients; and what was sold or shared. They may request deletion, request correction, and opt out of sale or sharing. They may limit certain uses of sensitive personal information when that right applies. They have the right not to be treated unfairly for using these rights. Exceptions may apply.

We do not use sensitive personal information to infer traits for advertising or for other uses that would require a separate right-to-limit choice under California law.

We may ask for information needed to verify an access, correction, or deletion request. We use information already in our records where possible. Do not send your Social Security number or identity documents unless we arrange a secure, necessary process. An ad sale or sharing opt-out does not require identity verification or an account.

You may use an authorized agent. We may ask for proof of authority and any verification the law permits. GPC does not require agent paperwork.

For requests governed by the CCPA, we acknowledge requests to know, correct, or delete within 10 business days and generally respond within 45 calendar days. If a lawful extension is needed, we explain it. We act on sale and sharing opt-outs as soon as possible, no later than 15 business days where that deadline applies. Browser-based ad blocking takes effect when you make the choice. We do not wait 15 days when we can act at once.

We do not charge for ordinary privacy requests. If we cannot fully grant a request, we explain the reason, subject to law. Our browser tracking choices are available whether or not the CCPA applies to a particular record.

Security and children

We use reasonable safeguards. No website or system is completely secure.

This website is for adults. We do not permit ad sale or sharing for a person we know is under 16. Contact us if you believe a child gave us personal information so we can take appropriate action.

Changes

We post changes here with a new date. For a material change, we also post a clear notice on the website. We give any further notice or obtain new consent that the law requires before a new use begins. New wording does not let us use old inquiry data for new ad purposes without the required permission.
